Hello, my name is Gaurav Pandey and I am an independent software developer (contractor) focusing on the Microsoft .NET platform. I specialize in designing distributed service based  solutions in addition to developing windows and web applications. I have an academic background in Economics/Finance &  a MS in Computer Science. I have been working in the Banking & Insurance sector for Fortune 500 clients.

In the technology domain my interests lie in the areas of distributed systems, Service Oriented Design, Security (Identity Management) and Interoperability between platforms and try to read and keep up with all the new developments in the  .NET universe. On the non-techie side my interests are in scuba diving (Certified Cave & Technical Diving), Skydiving/WingSuit (FAI ‘C’ License holder) and mountaineering.
